Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday slammed the BJP-led Uttar Pradesh authorities over the arrest of social gathering chief Shahnawaz Alam and stated the federal government is utilizing police as a “device of oppression”.

UP Congress Minority cell chief, Shahnawaz Alam, was arrested by the police late on Monday in reference to anti-CAA protest on December 19, 2019.
